Our Worship, Devotion and Love for Our God

Our worship for our God. Revelation 11:17 "saying, "We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign." Revelation 4:11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created." Psalm 95:6-7 "Oh, come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand." Hebrew 12:28 "Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,"
Showing our devotion to our God. The apostle Paul told us in how do this in Romans 12:1-2 "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Philippians 3:12-14 "Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
How to show our love for our God. John 14:23 " Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him." John 14:21 "Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him." 1 John 4:7 "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." 1 Corinthians 16:14 "Let all that you do be done in love." Jude 1:21 "keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life."
In this hard to deal with world of ours, our worship, devotion and love for our God provides us an anchor, when we are experiencing a storm in our life. Jesus is our refuge in our times of trouble. God's word the Bible gives us some light and hope in these dark times. There is not much to believe in, in today's world but we can believe in the coming of Jesus Christ and his Kingdom. Our worship, devotion and love for our God can get us through our hard times and give us a hope for our future.
