Love Your Fellow Christian

1 John 2:9 Whoever says, "I am in the light," but hates his fellow-Christian, is still in darkness. 10 He who loves his fellow-Christian dwells in light: there is no cause of stumbling in him. 11 But anyone who hates his fellow is in darkness; he walks in the dark and has no idea where he is going, because the darkness has made him blind.
1 John 3:10 This is what shows who are God's children and who are the devil's: anyone who fails to do what is right or love his fellow-Christians is not a child of God.
1 John 3:11 The message you have heard from the beginning is that we should love one another. 12 Do not be like Cain, who was a child of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were wrong, and his brother's were right. 1 John 2:29 You know that God is righteous; then recognize that everyone who does what is right is his child.
1 john 3:23 His command is that we should give our allegiance to his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as Christ commanded us.             [REB]

Let Us Love in Deed and in Truth

1 John 3:13-18, "Do not marvel, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love remains in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a manslayer, and you know that no manslayer has everlasting life remaining in him. 16 By this we have come to know love, because that one surrendered his soul for us; and we are under obligation to surrender [our] souls for [our] brothers. 17 But whoever has this world's means for supporting life and beholds his brother having need and yet shuts the door of his tender compassion upon him, in what way does the love of God remain in him? 18 Little children, let us love, neither in word nor with tongue, but in deed and truth.     [NWT]

Have Love Among Yourselves

In Mark 12:30, Jesus says, "and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength." verse 31 The second is this,'You must love your neighbor as your self.'There is no other commandment greater than these.'  In the old testament Leviticus 19:18 even says, "You must not take vengeance nor have a grudge against the sons of your people; and you must love your fellow as yourself. I am Jehovah."
1 John 4:20 "If anyone makes the statement:"I love God,"and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving his brother also."
In John 13:34 Jesus said,"I am giving you a new commandment, that YOU love one another; just as I have loved YOU,  that YOU also love one another; 35 By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves."
